Trip Sketches

Wow, Europe is incredible. I’m back home now but the month spent abroad was filled with awesome sights and experiences, from Hong Kong to Paris, Venice to Rome, and lots of places in between. I’ll post photos from the trip later, but for now here are some sketches:

Now this was a real highlight - the sheer scale and magnificence of Michelangelo’s David… you can’t help but just sit back in awe. And sit back I did, in the Galleria dell’Academia in Florence, with sketchbook in hand, for a couple of hours, with the following drawing the result:

    Thanks beni, Gerald and Alina! I’ve found it’s a great way of stirring up memories of being at these places - even moreso than photos - because you spend so much time concentrating on the surroundings while you’re drawing I guess :)
