Clay Rig (wip)

I’m a little low on drawings and paintings to post at the moment, so instead I thought I’ll give a sneak peek at a character rig I’ve been working on in XSI. The facial setup is now more or less compete, just fixing up some skinning/weighting issues on the arms/fingers now. I’ve tried to make it as intuitive to use as possible, keeping control squares, circles and other rigging doohickeys to a minimum. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some nice animation done with it.

It’s not for anything in particular, largely just a learning exercise, so I’ll probably add it to the pool of free rigs out there for others to use once it’s done. If anyone wants to have a test run of it and help me find any technical issues, feel free to shoot me an email.

    Looks great Andy!
Would that I actually knew how to animate in 3D, I’d love to have a go with him.

Hey guys, thanks for your interest! - just to clarify, the rig is XSI-only… for now anyway :)
